Water Resources Management and Irrigation and Drainage Systems Development in the European Environment

The European Union Countries today are faced with some new and original challenges, including increased competition for scarce water supplies, expanding demand for food, implications of global climate change and energy shortage.

Recognizing theses challenges, the Conference address the theme "Water Resources Management, and Irrigation and Drainage Systems Development in the European Environment" to be articulated along four thematic topics.
